Adibah Shuib is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Earlier, she held various administrative posts including Deputy Dean (Academic) and Deputy Dean (Resources and Research) of Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, UiTM and Deputy Director (Research & Education) of the Malaysia Institute of Transport (MITRANS) and the Head of Strategic Planning for the Centre of Strategic Planning and Information, UiTM. She received her B.Sc. (Mathematics) and M.Sc. (Computational and Applied Mathematics) from the Old Dominion University, Virginia, USA, and Ph.D. (Mathematics and Statistics) from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, specializing in management mathematics and operations research. She is Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications (IMA), United Kingdom, Professional Technologist (Ts) recognized by MBOT and Instructor of Record of the Indiana University, USA.
Yu-Hong Dai is Vice-President of the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific/Engineering Computing, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China. He received his B.Sc. degree in applied mathematics from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 1992. He then studied non-linear optimization in the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific/Engineering Computing, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and received a Ph.D. in 1997. After his graduation, he worked in the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science (AMSS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China, and became Full Professor in 2006. His research interests include continuous optimization, integer programming and various optimization applications. He has held editorial positions for several journals, including the Journal of Computational Mathematics, Computational Optimization and Applications, and Science China Mathematics. He won the China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists and a Best Paper Award at the 2011 International Conference on Communications.
Iskandar Shah Mohd Zawawi is Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. He served as the Publication Coordinator for the Research and Innovation Office in the College of Computing, Informatics, and Mathematics, UiTM Shah Alam. He received his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics, M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Ph.D. in Numerical Analysis from the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). After his graduation, he commenced his role as a lecturer at the UiTM Negeri Sembilan, Seremban campus. He later started the position of postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Informatics and Computing in Energy, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia. He has published numerous papers in indexed and high-impact journals and earned various awards in innovation competitions at both national and international levels. He has devoted his career to the advancement of knowledge in numerical analysis and applied mathematics, obtaining national and international research grants.
