In Search of Transnational Policing

This title was first published in 2002. Using material gathered from Europe and North America, this book examines the transnational practices of police agencies. The author develops a theory of the sub-culture of transnational policing and asks criminological questions about "global governance", by placing this theory about the occupations of policing within broader concerns about transformations in the transnational state system.
