With Hope in Our Hearts

Eight years after writing "Better Together", the Archbishop and Bishop of Liverpool once again join forces to reflect on the past and look ahead to the future, with both the city and the Church at the front of their agenda. "Reflecting on more than 18 years together in Liverpool, we look at Christian partnership with hope in our hearts. We examine with realism the memory of some joys and some dark days in our city. We reflect on the disappointments which some feel about slow progress towards Christian unity, and we recognise continuing differences. But our experience encourages us to believe that we can increasingly live in Communion with Christ and with one another."
