Dr.Chiranjeev Sharma currently works on PROTAC synthesis, enantioselective enzymatic synthesis of dinucleotides and synthesis of riboside analogues for anticancer and antimalarial drug discovery at Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Virginia Commonwealth University, USA. He also held the position of assistant professor (adjunct) at Keimyung University, Daegu and research professor at Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon where he was involved in anticancer drug discovery including design, synthesis, characterization, and purification of anticancer drugs, PROTACs and total synthesis of natural product analogues for antibody drug conjugation.
Sang J. Chung is the Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Biologics at Sungkyunkwan University since 2017. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1996 from POSTECH, South Korea, in the area of Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry. He carried out his post-doctoral research at the Scripps Research Institute and Harvard University. He established a research program in antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) using peptide linkers thereby finding a bio-venture company, AbTis developing ADC therapeutics, where he is Chief Executive Officer. His main research focus is on the development of ADC platform technology and novel peptide chemistry for therapeutics.
