In this work a research-and-development team is charged with creating a revolutionary super battery for an electric vehicle (able to travel 500 miles between recharges). Through this tale of Harry and his colleagues at Electromotion, managers should get guidance on such team-building essential s as creating a vision and goals, resolving conflicts and running effective meetings, giving and getting feedback, determining success factors, assigning roles and setting ground rules, and turning the vision into reality. The presentation is tongue-in-cheek, and a subplot in which Harry successfully applies team-building principles to his troubled marriage illustrates extra ways in which teamwork is useful.
