This colourful illustrated picture book is about William Adams (Anjin Miura) the first Englishman who arrived in Japan. He was officially recorded as being the first and only man to become a samurai from the outside of Japan under the Tokugawa shogunate (1603AD-1868AD). This book tells the story of his unique life.
