Christine M. Schweizer, DVM, grew up in Elmont, Long Island, NY, and spent much of her youth working with Thoroughbred racehorses at Belmont, Aqueduct, and Saratoga racetracks. She received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Cornell University and her DVM from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell.
