Written in the form of a memoir, God in Work is an account of a spiritual pilgrimage and an academic exploration of a business philosophy. Schumacher relates how his interest in the presence of God in work began. He describes his encounter with the Focolare movement and details how his study of theology, particularly that of the relationship between the three persons of the Trinity, led to radical new ideas about relationships in the workplace which have been successfully applied in a wide variety of industrial settings. Not just a study of organisational structure, this challenging book also reveals fresh insights into the little understood theology of the Trinity and the Church as the mystical Body of Christ. 'A brave and prophetic book' - Third Way 'Engaging. The relevance and importance of Schumacher's work structuring theories per se make this a book worth reading' - Faith in Business
