The sleepy North Brisbane suburb of Shorncliffe is never the same after local actor, Johnny Blakemore discovers that a prawn trawler is being used to smuggle drugs into the area. With the aid of Cherie, a new acquaintance they set out to expose the felons, but not before a series of chaotic capers lead them on a journey that reveals corruption and murders.
