Satin's other books include New Age Politics: Healing Self and Society and a novel, Confessions of a Young Exile. Satin has been a civil rights worker in Mississippi, cofounder and director of the Toronto Anti-Draft Programme, and cofounder and staff member of the New World Alliance, a national political organization that sought to go "beyond left and right."
