Patho-physiological Principles of Urology

This text focuses on the pathophysiology of urologic disease. It relates diagnostic testing with pathophysiologic concepts to show the scientific basis behind treatment of common genito-urinary diseases. Beginning with the urinary tract, it discusses embryology, physiology and function before moving on to the genital tract where contributors discuss male infertility and penile function. Subsequent sections deal with infections, stones and hypertension and uro-oncology, including flow cytometry, radiation, chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
