Luis Sagasti , escritor, profesor y critico de arte, nacio en Bahia Blanca, Argentina, en 1963. Es licenciado en Historia por la Universidad Nacional del Sur, donde trabaja actualmente como profesor. Desde 1995 hasta 2003 fue curador a cargo de educacion y divulgacion cultural en el Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Bahia Blanca, donde coordino numerosos catalogos artisticos para exhibiciones. Ademas de Bellas Artes (2011, publicada en ingles con el titulo Fireflies), publico cuatro novelas: El Canon de Leipzig (1999), Los mares de la Luna (2006), Maelstrom (2015) y Una ofrenda musical (2017). Su libro mas reciente, Leyden Ltd. esta compuesto integramente por notas al pie.
Luis Sagasti , a writer, lecturer and art critic, was born in Bahia Blanca, Argentina in 1963. The author of five novels, including Fireflies (known in Spanish as Bellas Artes, 2011) and A Musical Offering (Una Ofrenda Musical, 2017), he's just about to publish his most recent book, comprised entirely of footnotes.
