Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes - this collection of female nudes is a celebration of the artist's view that the rubenesque female form is beautiful and desirable. The art is soft and sensual, and displays the larger woman in tasteful relaxed poses that are at times dreamlike in form.

Nigel Rudkin is an artist living in the 21st century in Kent, but whose watercolour art would be more at home in the 19th century. He is largely self-taught, apart from a handful of life drawing classes, and whose predominantly watercolour work is a celebration of big beautiful women - he produces rubenesque female nudes painted in a tasteful, sensual style, that evoke an emotional response in the viewer. Having painted as a child - with different subject matter then of course - he put paintbrushes aside in his early teens, and only picked them up again a couple of years ago.
