Section C: Physical Chemistry

This series of annual reports provides for the general reader critical annual coverage of significant advances in the major areas of chemistry. From 1980, Section A became devoted to inorganic chemistry, Section B covers organic chemistry and Section C, physical chemistry. Topics covered in the essays contained in this volume include X-ray spectroscopy, thermochemistry, laser chemistry, infrared laser spectroscopy, the theory and calculation of molecular properties and the computer simulation of liquids and related systems.
