Time for Pine

A report about the survival of Scotland's Caledonian pinewoods which now occupy only 1% of their former range. Intended for everyone who is involved with drawing up and fulfilling policies for and in management of these woodlands, the report also introduces this habitat and the problems it faces. It suggests ways forward for its future management, including grazing, location and design of new pinewoods, pinewood economics and site safeguard. It contains a summary and recommendations also in Gaelic.
