An Introduction to Algebraic Topology

This textbook examines the basic fundamentals of the subject: homology, homotopy groups and cohomology rings. It requires, as a prerequisite, a knowledge of both basic algebra and point set topology. The text is most suitable as a two-term course at beginning graduate level.
