MetaWin allows you to summarize the results of multiple independent studies using either a fixed-effects of mixed-effects model meta-analysis. You can compare the mean effect sizes and confidence limits of different classes of studies and then examine the results of within- and between-group homogeneity tests. Effect sizes can be calculated using Hedges' "d", the natural log of response ratio, or alternate effect sizes defined by the user. This is both the disk and the manual for the "MetaWin" program.
