Jeannean has been teaching in Medical Imaging at Arkansas State University since 1991. In that time, she has served as interim program director, Faculty Senate senator, Faculty Association Secretary, Vice-President of the Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technologists, and numerous committees for the college and university. Additionally, she has been a recipient of the Arkansas State University Board of Trustees Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Distinguished Author Award. She has numerus national peer-reviewed journal publications and continuously provides presentations at various local, state, and national forums. Jeannean is co-author of Merrill's Atlas of Radiographic Positioning and Procedures, an internationally renowned textbook in medical imaging procedures.
