Focus on Travel

The second volume in this series of practical books, "Focus on Travel", combines both travel and photography, and should appeal to a broad audience. As in the first volume, the authors explain how to create memorable pictures using such ordinary equipment as "point and shoot" cameras. Travel and photography are such natural partners that even people who never take pictures at any other time take along a camera to record their trips. While these travellers intend to bring home outstanding pictures, more often than not the photos are disappointing. This book helps the traveller learn how to capture the spirit of the trip; prepare for the journey; convey a sense of place, including land, sea and city vistas; portray people; photograph architectural exteriors as well as interiors; and shoot exciting action scenes. To gather pictures, the author's travels ranged from Disney World to New Delhi and from the Rocky Mountains to the Red Sea.
