Stones of Aran

This is the first of two volumes on travelling in Eire which encompasses a journey around the coast of Aran - a walk along the wild southern cliff-line of the Atlantic, including the western Brannock islets, followed by a return trip around the low-lying northern coast. It includes descriptions of the region's archaeology, botany, birdlife, history and folklore and an elucidation of the Irish place names.
