This book evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of four political models in relation to the future of democracy. the book explores the realism of Machiavellian politics, the naive idealism of Utopian politics, and the complacent realistic/idealistic compormises of Liberal Democratic politics, arguing that only the prophetic model can incorporate the strength and avoid the weakness of the other three.
