Population Study of the Grass Snake in the Rieselfelder Münster

The presented study originates from a bachelor
thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Elisabeth I.
Meyer at the Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity
(University of Münster) and in cooperation with
the biological field station "Rieselfelder Münster".
Its subject is the application and evaluation of
three field methods regarding their efficiency and
practicability to investigate populations of the
grass snake. The aim was to facilitate future
observations of this reptile and to gain information
about the population in the nature reserve.
