Learning Through Science: Guide & Index

This "Guide and Index" accompanies a series of colour assignment cards in 12 thematic packs, each containing two sets of 24 cards and a Teacher's Guide. The series aims to help children of different ages and abilities learn scientific processes, concepts, methods and skills, as embodied in the National Curriculum and Scotland's Curriculum and Assessment Policy. The packs can be used independently or in conjunction with the "Science 5/13" series. The guide contains tables to show which enquiry skills and scientific concepts are covered on each card, and the tables can also be used to match the contents of each card to specific Statements of Attainment in science and technology.
