In California's wine country, young firefighter Kelly Grazziella goes missing during a wildfire. Only the imprint of her body remains.
The top-grossing televangelist in the U.S. wants to proclaim Kelly's rapture, but his chief advisor learns that Kelly is a Goddess worshipper. Suspecting a set-up, he enlists the help of the Krator Corporation, the privatized police that enforce the surveillance state.
From the EarthRage safe house in Mexico City, eco-journalist Jack Adair leads the resistance. When he learns what the firefighter knows, he resolves to find her before Krator does.
The quest takes us from the high-rise towers of Dallas to a secret paramilitary base near the Mexican border. As Kelly encounters the Goddess, a wily Coyote derails the televangelist's mission.
