She has taught across all key stages from Early Years Foundation Stage, to young people in Further Education and adults over the last 28 years. A qualified teacher, during her training she specialised in Dance, and she has actively promoted the teaching of Dance and Creativity throughout her career. As part of her present role she trains practitioners and teachers to teach dance and creativity in early years settings and schools. Naomi Wager Leigh trained as a Physical Education Teacher (Secondary) and chose to specialise in Dance whenever the opportunity presented itself. Her interest in Dance continued throughout her teaching career and led to her involvement in community dance projects both as a youth dance group leader and a performer in an adult dance company. Through her work as an advisory teacher she began to work with primary children delivering in-service training to teachers and delivering sessions to support the development of Dance in primary settings.
