He is also a member and former Deputy Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council and a member of its Corporate Governance Committee, Vice Chairman of the Auditing Practices Board, a member of the Government's Operating and Financial Review Working Group and a member of the panel advising Sir David Clementi in his review of the regulatory framework for legal services in England and Wales.
