He also served as a gubernatorial Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House in the Michigan state legislature.
Mr. Pero lives in Tampa, Florida, with his lifetime soulmate, Colleen. Their worldly travels have taken them to Europe, Southeast Asia, Central and South America, the Middle East, Antarctica, and all fifty states. They have two adult children, Alex and Claudia
