After graduating with a fine arts degree from the University of Tennessee, Anna Maria Parry opened Handmaiden, a clothing and housewares shop through which she sold her own line of clothing. She has partnered with more than two dozen manufacturers to design homewares, gift items, and textiles, including fabrics with FreeSpirit. She has authored three sewing books; publishes sewing, quilting, and needlework patterns; and teaches design, stitching, and patchwork. Anna Maria's paintings are in hundreds of private and commercial collections, and she has been featured in Artists Magazine. Anna Maria is the owner of Craft South, an online fabric and craft boutique.
