A Star for Noon

Gordon Parks volume has a distinct and universal theme: romantic love. Parks has combined 18 poems (composed for this book) with 65 female nudes and still lifes, to create a lyrical and unabashedly romantic homage to the beauty of women. The book also incorporates a CD of his own music, specially composed and performed by him on the piano and accompanied by a small orchestra.
