In the year 1980, Margaret Thatcher was starting her first term as Prime Minister, the troubles in Northern Ireland continued and the Cold War raged on. Against this backdrop Kevin was uprooted from his quiet New Forest village home and deposited into the centre of London.



He took what was supposed to be a temporary position at commodities giant C. Czarnikow Ltd and was propelled into a career in the derivatives markets. The City of London was on the verge of huge expansion and sweeping changes and Kevin was swept along with the tide, experiencing the highs and lows that impacted both his working and private life.
