Multiple Voices

The purpose of this collection is to provide readers with a model which may be used to understand, locate and analyze the various uses of stories and narratives in family therapy. Moreover, it should develop, in effect, a "case study" on how different stories from the multiplicity of contexts, actually affect the development of narratives used by various therapists within one institution, the Tavistock Clinic. The book is part of a series of books published by the Tavistock Clinic. The work of the clinic is based on the application of psychoanalytic and systemic ideas to understanding human growth and psychological development, and group and social processes both within the family and wider society.
