While there's no shortage of Internet security books, little attention has been paid to safeguarding the vulnerable network infrastructure itself - until now. Here's the first Internet security book that focuses exclusively on how to protect infrastructure components and prevent attackers from disrupting or disabling network operations. It reviews existing infrastructure weaknesses and the various means of attack, and gives engineers the design, implementation, deployment, and configuration strategies that can best safeguard the infrastructure and its mechanisms.
