A number of children are deprived of opportunities for normal growth and development due to several factors including neglect, abuse, social as well as economic conditions of the family etc. issues as such stagnate the growth and development of the child in a holistic manner and the children are left, most of the time, to live on their own. In such circumstances, the community has to take up the major responsibility of catering to the citizens of tomorrow and providing a conducive environment for the physical, mental, rational and spiritual well-being of the child.
