This 15th volume in a 19-volume series contains 21 letters written by van Leeuwenhoek between July 1704 and July 1707. The letters were written to six distinct addressees, the majority being written to the Royal Society in London. The other letters from this period consist of three to John Chamberlyane, who translated the letters of van Leeuwenhoek for the Royal Society; one to Antonio Magliabechi; one to Francesco Corner; one to Govert Bidloo; and one to Angelus van Wikhuysen. The latter two letters do not survive, so this volume contains two covering letters, accompanying copies of earlier letters to Magliabechi and Corner.
