Data Security is protecting a database from destructive forces and the unwanted actions of unauthorized users. Data security ensures privacy while protecting personal or corporate data. Data could be anything of interest that can be read or otherwise interpreted in human form. The unauthorized access of this data could lead to numerous problems for the larger corporation or even the personal home user. The issue of data leakage has always arisen from data at rest, data in transit, email, IM and various other internet channels, now with the rise of mobile technology, data leakage is occurring with greater ease, whether by accident or malice.
