Peter Nygaard covered his first Formula 1 Grand Prix back in 1982 and has since been one of the regular photographers in motorsport's premier class. Nygaard never misses a Grand Prix, and in addition to his own photographs, he has continuously acquired image archives from colleagues, allowing him to cover the history of Formula 1 all the way back to its beginning. Nygaard is well-liked and respected within the Formula 1 paddock and the F1 organisation, which has led to him supplying a wide range of images for the official F1 Exhibition - a travelling showcase dedicated to Formula 1.
