Shepherd Nyaruwata is a Senior Lecturer in Tourism at the University of Zimbabwe, where he has taught since 2009. He has published 22 journal articles on tour operations management, multi-destination packaging, the impact of ICTs on tour operations business models, travel agency business management, community-based tourism and biodiversity conservation, and tourism planning and development. He is the author of 14 book chapters and a book, titled Introduction to Tourism Development in the Southern African Development Community Region. He is also the co-editor of the book Tourism Development in Zimbabwe: Issues and Perspectives.
