The Management of Prostate Cancer in the Third Millennium /Therapeutic Dilemmas in Prostate Cancer

This volume of papers from the 13th European Congess of Urology, held in Barcelona, contains the proceedings of the Symposium on the management of prostrate cancer in the third millennium and the interactive workshop on therapeutic dilemmas in prostrate cancer. The symposium explores new avenues in the field of molecular diagnostics and control of prostrate cancer. The role of orchidectomy, oestrogen and antiandrogens in therapy are also explored. The final part deals with endocrine witthdrawl symptom and its relevance to the management of hormone refractory prostrate cancer.
