Traditional views on the relevance of gender in society are greatly disputed and many people are convinced that these views must be completely revised. Many Christians in particular, who take the authority of the Bible seriously, find it difficult to accept the biblical view of the sexes. Hence, the aim of this book is to reassess Christian texts and scriptures concerning gender, especially those that are frequently misunderstood, or subject to misinterpretation.
