Amy Neswald is a fiction writer and screenwriter. Her work has appeared in The Rumpus, The Normal School, Bat City Review, and Green Mountain Review, among others. She is recent recipient of the New American Fiction prize with her debut novel-in-stories I Know You Love Me, Too, will be released in the autumn of 2021. Her screenplay The Placeholder was awarded a Best Screenplay award at the Rhode Island Film Festival in 2008. When she is not writing, she teaches creative writing at the University of Maine and continues plugging away at her animated short films about monster children.
