Short Story Criticism

This series presents critical views on the most widely studied writers of short-fiction. Each volume includes overviews of eight to 10 short story writers (or titles) and an historical survey of the critical response to their work. Recent entries cover:

Beginning with Volume 6, the series includes an appendix of general studies of short fiction as well as excerpted comments by authors whenever possible, giving readers a better understanding of the authors' works and the genre.
