"Computer Accounting Using MYOB Business Software" has been written to help students understand how to use the latest MYOB software, beyond learning which buttons to press, so they will be better equipped to use it in their professional lives. The eighth edition has been reviewed by accounting lecturers and trainers around the country to ensure that it contains the most relevant structure and content for current Australian computerised accounting courses. It comes with a free student CD-ROM containing Student Editions of MYOB Accounting Plus v14, MYOB Premier v8 and MYOB AssetManager Pro v3, as well as a student help guide, a chapter on ergonomics, and all the data files necessary to complete the exercises in the textbook. The authors have retained the user-friendly style of previous editions, with clear step-by-step instructions, abundant MYOB screen images, competency checklists, self-test questions and answers, and concise practical examples. In response to popular demand, the new edition will also contain separate chapters on advanced topics, including BAS statements, advanced GST, and Balance Day Adjustments, to more closely complement the structure of VET accounting courses.
A popular textbook in VET courses, it has been written to cover the content of FNSACCT301A. Set up and Operate a Computerised Accounting System, and any other introductory course on MYOB Accounting Plus and AssetManager.
