Food is an offering; a foundational form of love. Under Orange Blossom is a bittersweet bite into life as a mixed race woman growing up in a rural area in the UK. Weaving in references to sacred stories and pastoral imagery, Natu captures self-image, adulthood, intimacy and relationships in a strangely-sweetened light. This is just the beginning of a road trip along cultural/religious barriers, womanhood and healing that lingers on each page more luscious than the last.
