NADA Annual Report 2012

Since 2002, NADA has been fighting against doping as a partner of clean athletes. In 2012, NADA celebrated its 10th birthday. This is the time to take stock while also looking forward to its future. Five employees once started this work. As we now know, that was not sufficient. Now, 10 years on, NADA's team consists of 30 people.
Establishing blood passes and new methods of analysis have made it ever harder for cheaters to succeed. This has also been assisted by establishing NADA's Task Force in 2011. Further important steps on the way to a clean and fair sport are securing NADA's financing, taking over all in-competition controls in Germany as well as result management and sanctioning for sports federations and advancing doping prevention. The Annual Report 2012 provides the reader with current information about NADA's work.
