Dancing on the Waves

The Grand Canal is an 86 mile passageway from Ringsend in Dublin to the River Shannon and John Mulligan walked it in July 2003. En route he encountered history, architecture, nature and some interesting characters. One such encounter turned his walk into a parallel reflection on his voluntary work in Romania
