The Growth and Structure of International Trade Since the Second World War

This is the first book to present in one volume an empirical account of the growth and changes in international trade since the Second World War and an investigation of the reasons for them. The author analyzes the overall structure of world trade in terms of the main trading blocks, industrialized areas, the developing areas and the Eastern Block. On the changes in monetary value, he estimates the changes in real magnitudes, and hence the changes in specialization between the groups of countries.
