Even though Shanna didn't grow up on a ranch, she adapted quickly to the western way of life. She has worked hard to raise a son that understands the history, tradition, and responsibility associated with being a cowboy. By day, Dr. Shanna U. Moody is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology and Human Performance By night she is a spandex-wearing, burpee-lovin, fitness pro. And somewhere in between all that, she is lurking behind a laptop writing books, completing research projects in exercise science, and recording episodes of her podcast, Under the Brim. On the weekends Shanna loves to throw on her boots and travel across the country to rodeos supporting her son, Cinch and her significant other. When spare time allows you can find her traveling, reading, hiking, riding horses, floating on her stand up paddle board. Shanna's personal motto in life is "make an effort not an excuse" and she hopes she can inspire others through her classes, books and videos to aspire for greatness in all areas of life.
