Prof Dr Melanie Moll studied Sociolinguistics and Linguistic Anthropology at the University of South Carolina and has been working in the field of intercultural studies for over 25 years. Since 2014, she is the Dean of the Department of Intercultural Management at the Europäische Fernhochschule Hamburg in Germany. Previously, Moll was Professor of Intercultural Studies at Clearwater College in Florida as well as Adjunct Professor at Furman University and University of South Carolina. Her previous works include The Quintessence of Intercultural Business Communication (Springer). Her papers are also published by, among other outlets, The Journal of Business Communication (Sage), the International Scientific Events Association, as well as the Association of Business Communication.
Maria Hehle-Fritsch holds a B.A. in Business & Management from the University of South Wales and an M.A. in Intercultural Management. Her academic research explored the intricate relationship between identity, communication, and culture, focusing on how cultural influences shape individual identity and are reflected in communication patterns. With over 15 years of experience in adult education, she has specialized in helping professionals from diverse industries and backgrounds enhance their English communication skills, particularly in business and professional settings. In addition to teaching Business English, she spent five years working with a non-profit organization, collaborating with a multicultural team.
