Dr. RANDY MITCHMORE has always put patients first. His only goal with dentistry is to restore their smile and confidence so they truly live their lives to the fullest. He's included many patient stories in this book to inspire those who may not be leading a happy life due to their smile.
A native of Houston, Dr. Mitchmore received his doctorate from the University of Texas in Houston, and has been honored to be named a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry based on his continuing postgraduate education. He has also won a prestigious spot on Houston's Top Docs since 2003, and he lectures to other dentists all over the country. Dr. Mitchmore received his advanced dental education from the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, the Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Dawson Academy of St. Petersburg, Florida and is one of only 700 doctors worldwide to have completed the full Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Cosmetic Studies (LVI) curriculum.
He also volunteers for Give Back a Smile, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's project to restore the broken and damaged teeth of survivors of domestic violence. He spent many years on the board of directors for Bering Omega Community Services, a service that provides compassionate healthcare and social services to people living with HIV/AIDS. He is always getting involved in the idea of helping people and giving something back to his beloved community. When Dr. Mitchmore gets excited about a project, everyone around him feels it and gets passionate about giving back too. In 2008 he was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation, a Masters honor from The American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
