Micromech Fail Quasi-Brit Mats

The function of this conference was to provide a broad view of the failure of quasi-brittle materials such as concrete, rock and ceramics. The efficient design of these materials is based to a great extent on the micromechanics of failure mechanisms including the strength and evolution of the failure zone. The purpose of this book is to provide state-of-the-art information for materials scientists, civil and structural engineers and all those working with quasi-brittle materials.
